Mr. Lissner has over 15 years of investment management and commercial finance experience. Prior to Apex, Mr. Lissner was a managing director of a $70+ billion asset manager and registered investment advisor. Mr. Lissner actively managed distressed debt, private equity, high yield debt and other special situations in four separate fund vehicles with over $1.3 billion of available capital. He was also a senior member of the team responsible for acquiring two middle market loan portfolios with in excess of 60 total loans and a combined principal balance in excess of $600 million from two large financial institutions. Mr. Lissner is an attorney and a CPA and is accustomed to analyzing complex legal documents and reviewing detailed financial information. He has played the lead role in many corporate restructurings and has been on the front line of many difficult situations. He also has prior experience as a crisis manager. Mr. Lissner graduated from Loyola University School of Law in 1991 and Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business, in 1988. He became a certified public accountant in 1991 and has been admitted to the Illinois State Bar since 1991.
