Jeffrey Hopmayer

Mr. Hopmayer currently serves as a Managing Partner of Hopmayer Consulting Group and Sapphire Advisors LLC and serves on their respective investment committees. He is the past CEO of Sapphire Brands, which was a leading adult beverage company owning and operating one of the largest wineries in California. He established global distribution for all the company’s products and was responsible for the complete re-branding, strategic turnaround and ultimate sale of the company. Mr. Hopmayer has over 25 years of experience in solving complex sales and marketing challenges, as both an investor and CEO.

Mr. Hopmayer held previous positions with several companies, including:

• CEO of Blavod Extreme Spirits plc, a public company on the London Stock Exchange.
• A bakery and distribution company that he created to supply Starbucks Coffee Company when it had only 30 locations. He sold this company 10 years later when it was handling over 500 Starbuck’s locations throughout the US and internationally. The company was featured on the cover of Inc. Magazine and was named one of the 500 fastest growing American companies in the 1990’s for four consecutive years.

Mr. Hopmayer is on the Board of the Mansfield Foundation and University of Denver – Daniels School of Business where he is also a distinguished lecturer. He is also on the Board of several privately held companies.
