Mr. Ferguson has an established 28 year track record as an investment manager, investment banker and management consultant/crisis manager. He has 16 years of experience as a senior investment manager in event driven, distressed debt and private equity environments and 12 years of experience in investment banking and Big 6 management consulting. He has been a key driver in the success of numerous investments in difficult situations, in roles ranging from fulcrum investor to lead negotiator for ad hoc creditors committees to board member. Most recently, Mr. Ferguson managed distressed and high yield investments on behalf of a $6 billion institution. Mr. Ferguson began his principal investment career in the employ of a nationally recognized investor focusing on control investments, some of which were distressed at the time of acquisition. Mr. Ferguson holds a B.A. in Economics from Michigan State University. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and other meetings on the subject of distressed investing, both domestically and abroad.
